The Baronage of Scotland Association offers its warmest congratulations to William, 17th Earl of Lindsay, and the Countess of Lindsay (formerly Lady Violet Manners, daughter of the Duke of Rutland), on the birth of their first child, a son, John, in July 2026.
As his father’s heir, John is Master of Lindsay, styled Viscount Garnock.
The Association sends its good wishes to the whole family, and hopes the arrival brings comfort and joy in a year that has also brought the loss of his grandfather, the right honourable James, 16th Earl of Lindsay.
